Comparative Deformation Analysis of the Elastic Thick-Walled Isotropic Tube

This work deals with a comparative deformation analysis of the thick-walled circular cross-section isotropic tube. Deformations are analyzed using the semi-analytical method that works with elasticity in curvilinear coordinates and the Fourier or Taylor series expansions. Different series expansions are used and obtained results are compared with results of the finite element method (FEM) analysis.
