Servo Control Using Wave-based Method

Abstract


The wave-based control of flexible mechanical
systems has been developed. It is based on the idea of
sending waves into the mechanical system, measuring the
incoming waves and avoiding the re-sending of these waves
into the continuum again. This approach actually absorbs
the energy coming from the system. It has been
successfully applied for the number of simulations. This
paper deals with the implementation of the wave-based
control for experiments using servomotor. It particularly
describes the implementation on Yaskawa servo-motor
and its PLC system.
